Coalition Letter to Senate Banking Committee Leadership Supporting the Johnson-Crapo Amendment

NAR, in coalition with other industry groups, sent a letter to Senator Tim Johnson (D-SD) and Senator Mike Crapo (R-ID), Chairman and Ranking Member (respectively) of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, supporting their Amendment #593, which ensures Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac credit risk guarantee fees (g-fees) are no longer used to offset costs associated with unrelated policies that increase the deficit.
