NAR Support Letter to Sponsors of H.R. 4335, the VA Loan Informed Disclosure Act of 2023

On June 29 NAR sent a letter to Representatives Kilmer, Bergman, Hageman, Pettersen, and Rutherford. The letter expresses NAR’s support for H.R. 4335, the VA Loan Informed Disclosure Act of 2023, and thanks the bill’s sponsor and cosponsors for their continued work to ensure the VA home loan guaranty program remains a viable financing option for veterans. The VA home loan guarantee program has been successful in raising the homeownership rate for veterans to more than 75%, a level much higher than the national average. However, some veterans are not aware of their VA home loan benefit, and increasing transparency and visibility is critical to the success of the program.
