NAR Letter to FHFA Regarding LLPA Changes

On April 26 NAR submitted a letter to FHFA regarding the recent LLPA changes. In the letter NAR:

  • Expresses appreciation for the FHFA’s efforts to reform this critical piece of the finance system,
  • Raises concerns for borrowers facing high rates,
  • Points to excess capital and ROE in the fee structure, and
  • Asks the FHFA to eliminate the fee increases.
