US HR 2874 - The 21st Century Flood Reform Act
On May 2, 2018, NAR and the Smarter Safer Coalition sent a joint letter urging the United States Senate to make needed reforms to the National Flood Insurance Program and extend it for five years before the July-31 deadline. The letter requests that the Senate include key provisions of the House-passed 21st Century Flood Reform Act (HR 2874) and several bipartisan Senate bills, including S. 1571 (Crapo-Brown), S. 1368 (Kennedy-Menendez) and S. 1313 (Cassidy-Gillibrand).
