On February 20, 2018 NAR sent comments to the EPA in response to the Agency's Information Collection Request (ICR) Notice on the collection burden for the Lead-Paint Disclosure regulation. NAR recommends that the EPA consider providing additional training opportunities and resources to the real estate community to respond to this need. In addition the letter encourages the EPA to continue to innovate in the area of electronic reporting and record-keeping and develop compliance methods that can be completed in a digital or electronic format.
