NAR Letter to Full House Urging Cosponsorship of H.R. 1447, the "Fair and Equal Housing Act"

US HR 1447 - The Fair and Equal Housing Act of 2017
On January 11, 2017 NAR sent a letter to the full House urging Representatives to cosponsor H.R. 1447, the “Fair and Equal Housing Act.” The legislation which was introduced by Representatives Taylor (R-VA) and Schneider (D-IL), will protect Americans from housing discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. The real estate industry strongly supports equal housing opportunity.
