NAR Letter to Full House and Senate Regarding National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) Extension

On November 28, 2017 NAR sent a letter to the Full house and Senate. In the letter NAR urges all members of Congress to immediately extend the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) while continuing to work toward a long-term reauthorization and reform measure. Unless Congress passes an extension before December 8, 2017, the NFIP will no longer be able to issue or renew flood insurance policies where required for a mortgage across 22,000 communities nationwide
