NAR Letter to Senate Environment Committe Regarding WOTUS Hearing

On April 25, 2017 NAR senta a letter to the Chair and Ranking Member of theSenate Committee on Environment and Public Works and cc’ing the entire Committee. The letter thanks the Committee for holding the upcoming hearing, “A Review of the Technical, Scientific, and Legal Basis of the WOTUS Rule.” The letter urges the Committee to work with the EPA and the Corps of Engineers to repeal the rule and thoughtfully draft a regulation that protects the nation’s economy and the rights of property owners, while promoting responsible environmental stewardship.
