NAR Letter to Representatives Ellison and Fitzpatrick Supporting H.R. 4172, the “Credit Access and Inclusion Act of 2015”

On June 2 NAR sent a letter to Representatives Ellison and Fitzpatrick. The letter to expresses NAR’s support for the Representatives’ efforts to responsibly expand access to mortgage credit by introducing H.R. 4172, the “Credit Access and Inclusion Act of 2015.” The legislation will help low and moderate income individuals achieve the American Dream by amending the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act to allow providers like gas, electric and telecommunication companies to report consumers’ payment histories to credit reporting agencies.
