CAR Letter to Rep McNerney Regarding HR 4719

ON May 17, 2016 CAR sent a letter to Representative Jerry McNerny (D-Ca). The letter express CAR's support for H.R. 4719, the COMPLI Act. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), was created to provide special access rules for public accommodations to ensure these areas are accessible to individuals with disabilities. H.R. 4719 protects the rights of people covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and property owners by providing clear direction on how to proceed with an ADA violation.
