On April 11, 2016 NAR sent a letter to Representative David Jolly.
The letter thanks the Congressman for introducing the Natural Disaster Reinsurance Act of 2016. The legislation would provide federal reinsurance only to states that set up a fund to pre-pay for natural disasters but experience an event so large that it overwhelms the state fund’s ability to cover claims.
