On October 1, 2015 NAR sent a letter to FAA Administrator Michael Huerta. The letter highlighted the importance of integrating the commercial use of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) into the national air space. Although the FAA has made significant strides in achieving this goal the Agency did not meet the congressionally mandated deadline of September 30, 2015. NAR supports FAA’s safety-focused approach to this rulemaking and is committed to working with the FAA to educate REALTORS® about responsible UAS use.
