NAR Letter to Representative Griffith Regarding Fairness in Flood Bill

US HR 3297 - Fairness in Flood Insurance Act
On September 8, 2015 NAR sent a letter to Representative Morgan Griffith. The letter thanked Representaive Morgan for for introducing HR 3297, the Fairness in Flood Insurance Act.NAR supports this bill which would allow communities and property owners who believe their properties have been incorrectly mapped into high-risk floodplains adequate time and recourse in challenging those mapping decisions. In addition the letter suggests several provisions that will greatly benefit homeowners.
