Coalition Letter to Senate Budget Committee Supporting Amendment Which Prevents the Use of G-Fees as a Funding Mechanism

On March 15, 2015 NAR as part of a coalition sent a letter to Chairman Enzi and Ranking Member Sanders of the Senate Budget Committee. The expressed the coalition's support for the amendment offered by Senators Crapo, Warner, Corker, and Merkley to ensure Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac credit risk guarantee fees (g-fees) are no longer used to offset the costs associated with unrelated policies that increase the deficit.
