NAR Letter to House committee on Aviation Urging the Creation of Safe and Reasonable Legislation Regarding Unmanned Aerial Systems

On December 9, 2014 NAR sent a letter to House Transportation’s Subcommittee on Aviation. The letter, for the Subcommittee's hearing on Wednesday, December 10, on “U.S. Unmanned Aircraft Systems: Integration, Oversight and Competitiveness,” urged the FAA to act quickly to promulgate rules allowing for the commercial use of UAS (drones/UAVs) in a manner that is safe and reasonably regulated.
