US HR 5078 - The Waters of the U.S. Regulatory Overreach Protection Act
The Waters Advocacy Coalition (WAC) respectfully requests that the Senate move quickly to consider H.R. 5078, the Waters of the United States Regulatory Overreach Protection Act of 2014. Senate action on the bill will send a strong message to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Corps of Engineers that they need to go back to the drawing board, using a balanced approach to develop a consensus report to Congress that can yield a proposal that will maintain environmental safeguards and simultaneously protect business and landowners from unnecessary regulation.
