NAR Letter on Basel III Capital Standards to the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee

NAR sent a letter to the members of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee prior to its November 14th hearing on "Oversight of Basel III: Impact of Proposed Capital Rules." NAR expressed concern that the proposed Basel III capital rules will have a detrimental effect on the accessibility and affordability of residential and commercial mortgage credit.
