Letter to the House of Representatives on consideration of a bill to reauthorize the National Flood Insurance Program

NAR sent a letter to every member of the House of Representatives urging passage of HR 1309, the Flood Insurance Reform Act. The bill would reauthorize the National Flood Insurance Program for 5 years, creating more stability for homeowners who need flood insurance. NAR also urged a "No" vote on an amendment that would end the National Flood Insurance Program.
